Who can apply to YGP Dance Lab?

YGP Dance Lab is open to international students from age 10 with prior ballet experience. Dancers are grouped by age and skill level to ensure appropriate training.

Do I need to audition?

All applicants must complete the online application form. This helps our team assess placement level and ensure a great class experience for all.

Where does the programme take place?

The 2025 edition will be held in Barcelona, Spain. The exact venue and facilities will be shared upon admission.

What are the dates of the programme?

The summer programme runs from 25th to 30th August 2025, Monday to Saturday, 9 AM to 5 PM. The last day, on Saturday, schedule will be 9am to 3pm.

Is accommodation provided?

Accommodation is not included. Most participants travel with their families and arrange their own stay. We will offer a list of recommended hotels and areas near the venue.

What is the tuition fee?

The tuition covers:

• Daily ballet & contemporary classes

• Access to elite faculty & guest artists

• Participation in the final performance

What should I bring?

A detailed packing list will be sent upon acceptance. Essentials include: ballet shoes, pointe shoes (if applicable), rehearsal wear, water bottle, towel, and medical insurance info.

Will there be a final performance?

Yes! All students will take part in a final performance on the last day of the programme, open to family and guests.

What languages are spoken during the programme?

The main language is English. Our staff and faculty speak additional languages and will help non-native speakers feel supported.
